Yehudan (Ye-hu-duhn) is the Jewish Nation in Exile. The name is a conjunction of two other names: Yehuda and Dan.

Yehuda and Dan are two of the twelve tribes of Israel. As the tribes would move, Yehuda would lead the front and Dan would cover the rear. It is brought down that the Messiah's father will be from Yehuda and his mother from Dan. It is, therefore, no wonder that the two names Yehuda and Dan naturally flow into each other, and that the Gematria (alphabetical-numerical total) of their conjunction, Yehudan, is 71, just like the Gematria of the Hebrew word "LiGeula", which means "For Redemption". It is by fulfilling the roles of Yehuda and Dan--leading the Jewish Nation while also making sure no Jew is left behind--that we hope to bring about the Final Redemption soon, with G-d's help.
